Ever since I was a young boy, I loved comic books and stories. But, I noticed a trend. Far too often, those who look like me were underrepresented and often depicted in a negative light. It was disheartening, but I knew I was not helpless, because I held the pen.

In the pen, there is great power. The power to create anything. So, I did. I created entire worlds where people were not relegated to stereotypes. I want people to see that anyone can be a hero and a leader.
